CIVIL LEADERSHIP

This category recognizes someone demonstrating leadership to improve the community and effect change by problem solving and engaging in the civic process.  

COLLEGIATE IMPACT

This category recognizes a college student who demonstrates leadership on and off campus while maintaining at least a 2.8 g.p.a. This award is presented in partnership with Wichita State University's Office of Diversity and Inclusion. 

CORPORATE

This category recognizes a Wichita-area company that encourages diversity as evidenced by its business practices and community presence.

ENTREPRENEUR

This category recognizes a diverse start-up, emerging and/or established entrepreneur whose achievements demonstrate resilience in the face of obstacles and/or whose professional performance is positively contributing to the local economy through the creation of jobs.  

MENTOR

This category recognizes a stand-out person who shares resources and knowledge to help guide, challenge and encourage millennials to achieve at greater levels. 

PRESIDENT'S CHOICE

This award, which was introduced in 2016, honors a special member of Wichita Urban Professionals who exemplifies our organization's values.

URBAN PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

This category recognizes a stand-out member of Wichita Urban Professionals. Selection of the award winners is performed by Urban Professionals' Mentor network.
